John Avery was born on August 23, 1767 in North Carolina.
He was married to a Mary Pringle, who was born on March 22, 1776.
Their children were:

John died on 03/09/1845 and Mary died on 03/31/1850 and both are buried in Sand Creek Cemetery in Morgan County, IN

He was married to a Nancy Kemp and then to a Rachel Kent.
David's first wife Nancy was born on March 13, 1806 and died on May 20, 1843 also in Morgan Co. Indiana.
David and Nancy were married on April 28, 1826 in Morgan Co., Indiana.
They had the following children:
Jesse - born 1829 and was married to Sarah Mandeville.
Madison - born 1834 and died on January 24, 1915 and was married to Sarah Jarrett.
Jefferson - born December 1, 1836 and died o May 18, 1914 and was married to Lucinda(died October 5, 1873(c).

Monroe - born 1840
David and Rachel Kent were married on September 25, 1844
